Stephen Dixon (newsreader)

Stephen Dixon (born in Newton-in-Furness, Cumbria) is a news presenter for ''Sky News'', the 24-hour television news service operated by Sky Television, part of British Sky Broadcasting. He is based at ''Sky News Centre'' in West London, and formerly presented the flagship programmes'' Sky News at Seven'' and ''Sky News at Ten'' every Friday, Saturday and Sunday on Sky News. In January 2012 he switched to ''Sky News Sunrise'', presenting Friday and weekend editions of the programme, and is the main stand-in presenter at other times for its main presenter, Eamonn Holmes.
==Journalism career==
Dixon's career began at Nottingham Trent University where he read for a BA in Broadcast Journalism, graduating in 1995 aged 21. Before working for Sky News, Dixon worked for ITN as both a presenter and producer for ITV, NBC Superchannel and Channel 5. He also helped work as producer and programme editor on Channel 4 ''Big Breakfast'' News and presented on finance channel Simply Money with Angela Rippon.〔(Biography - Stephen Dixon ) Sky News〕 Dixon was the first newsreader to report the 7 July 2005 London bombings.
